Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Controlling, coordinating, and analyzing all activities associated with key customer contract programs by performing the following duties:

  • Acting as a liaison between TW Metals and contract customers to execute and coordinate specific activities related to the day- to-day activities.

  • Entering data into customer portals.

  • Creating customer orders, trackers, manifests.

  • Batching, sorting, and scanning orders.

  • Analyzing customer order data for accuracy and compliance. Paper or electronically.

  • Providing analysis of future raw material procurements & make recommendations on buys using ERP system

  • Invoicing customer orders in the TW Metals NexGen system.

  • Coordinating order flow between Operations and Administration.

  • Working with IT to solve any electronic data transfer

  • Scanning various documents into the TW Metals TIMS system.

  • Helping Quality Assurance investigate customer non-conformances.

  • Cycle counting inventory as needed.

  • Attending daily/weekly/monthly department meetings.

  • Expediting emergent orders and pull-in orders.

  • Analyzing and organizing work cell areas.

  • Sourcing program related materials to ensure competitive quality, pricing, and lead-time.

  • Serving as a backup for various production cells in operations.

  • Occasional local travel may be required

Qualifications:

  • High School or GED, Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related area preferred

Requirements:

  • Possess effective communication skills which include verbal and written

  • Ability to prioritize workload and be self-directed

  • Customer service or sales assistant experience is necessary

  • Metals industry experience is preferred

  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office, particularly efficient on Excel is preferred

  • Ability to learn proprietary program (Metalware)
